The FOPH is monitoring the situation very closely following Israeli air strikes on possible nuclear sites in Iran. Radioactive emissions into the atmosphere at the sites concerned cannot be ruled out.

The Scandinavian authorities announced on their websites that artificial radionuclides were detected in the air in the first half of June 2020. The measured concentrations of radionuclides are very low and pose no danger to humans or the environment.
