Chernobyl forest fires April 2020 (update 2021)

In 2020, particularly serious forest fires occurred in the area of the exclusion zone around Chernobyl (1986 nuclear power plant accident). Tiny traces of radioactive caesium-137 may have been transported as far as Switzerland.
